    The SMMT is hosting four of its flagship events at the first-ever Automechanika Birmingham show on the 7-9 June 2016 at the NEC in Birmingham – enjoy discounted rates as an NAA member…

    Day One: 7 June 2016 – Open Forum

    With leading colleagues from Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd., GKN Plc. and Jaguar Land Rover already confirmed to speak at Open Forum, this industry-led event is shaping up to be a must attend for those interested in understanding the latest issues and opportunities and for a chance to network with a comprehensive section of the UK’s supply chain. Also confirmed for this year’s event is a thought-provoking panel discussion led by executives from UK based OEM’s and tier 1 suppliers focusing on a wide range of topics including:

    • The UK’s supply base, its capabilities and its relationship with the global market
    • Market trends and drivers for new business opportunities
    • Purchasing decisions, processes and factors affecting them.

    The Meet the Buyer event incorporates a presentation followed by a day of one-to-one meetings with automotive purchasers and suppliers to help build and retain supply chain relationships.

    To register, you must submit an Expression of Interest Form by the 29 April 2016 to detail a profile of your company’s services. Once submitted, pre-arranged meetings are requested based on those profiles that meet the buyer’s supply requirements.

    UK Logistics and Aftermarket Forum sessions will include logistics and aftermarket experts discussing new and upcoming challenges and distribution issues in the logistics industry and practical day-to-day challenges and opportunities that exist in the independent aftermarket as well as on horizon topics that need to be considered to ensure a healthy future for both sectors.

    Both Forums will open with a morning of focussed presentations followed by a thought-provoking panel discussion and will then come together for an afternoon of joint seminar discussions.
