Vauxhall and Bentley have both been announced as being two of Britain’s highest ranked Top Employers for 2012

Vauxhall Motors is celebrating its outstanding achievement as Britain’s 4th highest ranked Top Employer for 2012, amongst 66 other organisations. Based on independent research conducted by the CRF Institute, Vauxhall Motors offers its employees exceptional working conditions with particular emphasis on Secondary Benefits and Company Culture.

Vauxhall Motors’ workforce benefits from an attractive salary and benefits package and a company culture where people engagement is of major importance. Through various schemes, Vauxhall is encouraging its employees to communicate and exchange ideas and thoughts at all levels and to be actively involved in generating positive change throughout the company. As an employer, Vauxhall demonstrates exceptional dedication to its workforce and the community where it operates, also offering excellent international career opportunities.

Meanwhile, Bentley Motors has been named as a Top Employer for 2012 for the first time. The annual report described Bentley’s global headquarters in Crewe, Cheshire, as offering the company’s 4,000 employees “exceptional working conditions”.

The company was recognised for creating a culture where staff are proud to uphold its values and work for the company. Bentley scored highest in the area of Career Development, and particular attention was given to the company’s promotion of engineering careers – and the manufacturing sector as a whole – to school and college children. This commitment is made even more visible by the company’s award-winning graduate and apprenticeship programme.
