    Background

    The Electric Van Company (EVC), founded in 2019 in Lancashire, is a British manufacturer dedicated to purpose‑built electric commercial vehicles. Registered under SIC code 29100 for motor‑vehicle manufacturing, the company focuses on innovative, efficient solutions for last‑mile delivery. Its flagship product, the EVC CitySprint, is engineered from the ground up as a Class L7e electric vehicle, distinct from converted passenger EVs. Designed for urban environments, it combines compact dimensions, agile handling, and a modern cab layout to maximise practicality and driver comfort. EVC oversees design, engineering, and production to deliver a robust, UK‑built last‑mile solution.

    The Electric Van Company (EVC) is a UK manufacturer and specialist supplier dedicated to advancing zero‑emission commercial transport. As the creator of the EVC CitySprint, our purpose‑built L7e electric delivery vehicle, we offer a uniquely efficient solution for urban and last‑mile operations. Designed from the ground up for dense city environments, the CitySprint delivers exceptional manoeuvrability, low operating costs, and a modern, driver‑centred cab, making it an ideal choice for fleets seeking practical, scalable electrification.

    Alongside our own manufacturing capability, EVC is also a main dealer for the MAN TGE and the full Maxus electric and diesel range. This positions us to support NAA members with a complete portfolio of commercial vehicles, from lightweight urban EVs to high‑capacity vans and specialist conversions. Our team provides end‑to‑end support including fleet specification, operational modelling, charging guidance, and aftersales solutions designed to maximise uptime.
