Background
We are a commercial vehicle engineering company, with our main product being the conversion of CNG biomethane trucks from 4×2 to 6×2 axle configuration, to suit UK GVW.
AVT also provide the following:
- Re-packaging truck chassis to suit specific requirements, including, chassis reduction & extension, additional or movement of components, axles, fuel tanks, exhausts etc;
- Develop and fit nearside clear view windows to the lower side of kerb-side doors for driver direct vision;
- Build dual steer vehicles, (2 x steering controls in the cab);
- Conversion of rigid to Tractor unit heavy trucks;
- In house 3D CAD design team.
What can you offer to NAA Members?
- Engineering solutions both automotive and non-automotive, from design & fabrication to supply;
- Design & production of bracketry for component installation;
- Problem solving for specific requirements where the standard supplied item won’t work and needs amending or replacing with an alternative.
